Fashion is emotive and we wanted to create a brand that would connect on an emotional level as so many cashmere brands can feel cold, distance and not accessible.
So the SALTS label was born..
Our inspiration for the collection comes from art, film and street style influencing the colour palettes and designs delivering pieces that feel good and have a timeless quality that work around you and your personal style.
Having worked with the “noblest of yarns” for over 10 years and built up a close relationship with our supplier partners based in Inner Mongolia... a place so cold it provides some of the world’s best cashmere for some of the world’s most luxurious brands.
A family run business whose 30 year commitment to craft and heritage are second to none while adopting sustainable innovative supply practices that promote biodiversity and support the ecosystem.
I have visited the factory on many occasion seeing first hand the process from goat to garment and had the honour of meeting the incredible herdsmen and their families who live and work on the grasslands.
